If you are like me and dove head first into the Netflix Documentary Tiger King and were left with, oh like, A BAZILLION QUESTIONS… I don’t think we’re alone.
This is full of spoilers, so if you’re not done watching, come back later. I know you’ll have questions too.
Tiger King was a wild ride, an experience to say to least. A show that left me thinking… “WTF IS GOING ON?!”... or “WHAT??”... or “HOW ARE THEY NOT IN JAIL?!” for about 75% of the show.
I don’t know if I’ll ever have my questions answered, but I at least need to put them out into the universe.
HERE WE GO
How is Doc Antle the most sane and reasonable of any of these zoo keepers, and yet also has a legit cult full of young beautiful women??
How come Joe Exotic’s eyebrow ring is literally two seconds from falling off his face, and yet it’s still there?
CAROLE BASKIN TOTALLY MURDERED HER HUSBAND (sound speculation), WHY ISN’T THIS STILL BEING INVESTIGATED?
I need to know more about Carole Baskin’s new husband. How did that get started? Why did he marry her? Why did he agree to those wedding photos? What is he getting out of this relationship???? Does he think she murdered her dead husband?
How did Joe Exotic end up getting two apparently not gay men to marry him? In a threeway marriage?? Why was the whole meth use not more of a thing? Was everyone on meth?
Was Lauren really going to let Jeff Lowe pick the nanny based on looks????
Are exotic cats addictive? It seems that once they come into anyones’ lives they just can’t stay away. I mean… Saff (Kelci Saffrey) went back to work five days after having her hand amputated when she could have had it potentially regrafted and put back on.
Why is no one mentioning how Carole also keeps the big cats in cages and has people pay to come see them and has a bazillion volunteers she doesn’t pay?? If that’s not a zoo owner that’s not paying her employees then what is?
Did Travis Maldonado mean to shoot himself or was it an accident??
How is John Finlay’s tattoo cover up even considered a coverup? I mean…
How can the feds basically give 5+ people deals to not get in trouble in exchange for their testimony against one? How is this legal? What’s more corrupt than that? Like WHAT
Did anyone question Joe when he married Dillon 2 months after Travis died? TWO FREAKING MONTHS.
Does anyone else blame Joe being in jail basically all because of James Garretson? Who then decided that everyone should get in trouble when he realized his name wasn’t going to put on the new zoo? This dude is shady. They’re all shady.
How aren’t all of these people in jail??
Did Joe’s campaign manager ever think Joe stood a chance at winning?
Who’s going to play all of these characters in the scripted series?
Where does Carole get all of these outfits?
Are all zoos actually corrupt?
